ABA Services: Easy Parent Guide

Step 1: You Call the Agency
We gather basic information (diagnosis, insurance, concerns, schedule).

Step 2: Insurance & Documents
We verify your insurance and ask for:
• Autism diagnosis including: ADOS or CARS assessment, level of autism according to the DSM criteria (1-3), and doctor's signature
• Insurance card

Step 3: Assessment Approval
We request insurance approval for the BCBA assessment.

Step 4: BCBA Assessment
The BCBA meets with you and your child, observes, and completes testing.

Step 5: Treatment Plan Created
We write goals, behavior supports, and recommend therapy hours.

Step 6: Insurance Approval for Therapy
Insurance reviews and approves services.

Step 7: Scheduling & Team Assignment
We assign your therapy team and schedule sessions.

Step 8: Services Begin
Therapy starts, data is collected, and progress is reviewed regularly.
